IMPORTANT! - Cast your vote for the existing Sector Ambassadors/Directors/Mods/Admins/Officers

Gang,

Based on some COMMS traffic that I observed within the last week, some of you expressed wanting to vote in the Sector Ambassadors (Officers). In the past, voting has gotten limited responses, so I hope the turnout here is much greater than it has been in the past. Here's your chance to affirm the existing 'Officers' (ambassadors, moderators, etc.). These players volunteered their time to monitor COMMS, this forum, the FB page, help defend and develop the sector and overall help all players better enjoy the game as 292 likes to play it. In my opinion, we all are ambassadors and stewards of the sector, but these volunteers are helpful as go-to players to keep things moving in the best direction for the sector.

A minimum of 25 votes is needed for any existing player to retain their ambassadorship. Any player getting less than 25 votes will not be automatically dismissed, but rather a special individual poll will be ran for just those players to validate the sector's desires. I used 25 because that was the number that was needed to affirm me last year.

Anyone who wishes to volunteer can message me separately here or on Facebook and I will set up an individual poll as well. The minimum criteria continue to be a level 25 who will put the sector and other players' needs ahead of theirs.

Well this is a first.So im just writing a little note to say a big THANK YOU to all of those people in 292 for been my friend.

As loads of you guys & gals know there have been a number of us players in 292 from the very start, most of which are our helpfull officers. We throughout the game and months since 292 was formed (July 2011) have consitintly helped players old and new. We have gave great advice and have also listened and recieved some great advice in return. During our travels to other sectors, we take note of what other sectors say so when we return we can share this with our 292 members.

292 will always remain HOME for me. Yes i have ventured to many a sector for a break or change but always return. Last week I took it upon myself to change my name from Sir Poggie to a new name and have gained the level of 33 during this current raid. I am always more than happy to help out where I can, for whatever reason that may be.


Anyway thats enough from me & I wish you all have a pleasent experience been part of SECTOR 292 and have FUN

I have been thinking a lot.

In the early days of this sector when I still was a newbie I got appointed as officer, and have followed the rules and tried as best to have fun and protected the sector. Lots of different alliances have tried to take over this sector and rumours in Battle Pirates forums about how we stick together are well known.

I have read the forum news and fb news about what happened lately in our sector. I got confused by the sudden appearance of bes the founder of the alliance and his actions by clearing out the blacklist that we had done a lot by updating and keeping it up to date. I find myself confused about all this, and find it difficult to rule anymore. I also find it correct to let other step up as officers and directors and use their time on voluntary work in sector.

I am thankful for all that have voted so far for me, that is a great honor, but I have to disappoint you all. I will resign as an officer effective from today.

I will still have fun with battle pirates and the sector. Thank you for listning to me.
