Gang,

Please do not be discouraged by players who have returned to 292 and may be making your game less enjoyable in the past week. Although they might mean well with promoting in-sector attacks and exercising vigilante justice for friendly bubbles, our customs will still be to promote no in-sector attacks except for blacklistings and revenge hits. Our unity is our greatest asset, followed by communication. Together we help each other and the sector stay strong. Yes there are opportunists out there, but there are also some very hard working 292 pirates that give the good stuff consistently.

What you can count on from me and the volunteer Officer/Ambassadors/Etc. is continuing to support what you players want. If you want something different, we need to hear it, put it to a poll and see what comes back.

What you can also count on from us is a low tolerance for any talk that goes beyond the 'playful' and 'trash' talk. One of our customs here is to watch what we say . . . .

4. WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? - Slanderous communication directed at any Member (racial, religious, sexually explicit, etc.) is not acceptable in COMMS (game chat), Facebook chat or anywhere in the Sector 292 Forum. Good natured needling and debate is acceptable, however, be aware of how words can have negative effects on others. Refer to Kixeye's Terms of Use Statmement for more about in-game harrassment.

That said, it is my suggestion to take things at face value, with a grain of salt and have thick skin. I am in total disagreement with comments that attack a person beyond the game, especially to generate a response or be plain hurtful. There is no need take anything beyond 'the game.'

To wrap up, we don't have to agree on everything. We have agreed to play the game as it is given to us from the programmers and this game is ripe with faults. If players don't care for our customs and our preferred way of play, they can certainly move, but if they stay and choose to continue to disregard these customs, then they can expect the strength of the 292 Alliance to be in opposition.

As ever, please share what will make your game play better and we'll do our best.

Well said DPR

I have missed you all and I am planning to come back to 292 someday in the near future. I have learned a great deal about this game since my departure from 292, mainly about values and how I can enjoy this game for what it's worth.

I have received messages from a couple players regarding what this thread is about I believe.

Here is my thoughts about that:

If someone has to question ones friendship over the way they play a video game then they are not a friend that deserves your friendship.

Yes I attack people i sector and will I change my ways when I return to 292? No. Am I the same person I was when I stood, fought, fell, and won all the great battles I have in 292? Yes.

Remember people, we all have many thing in common. One being our passion for this game and the the bond we have as players and team-mates. In the type of environment we play in there comes a time when our skills and ways are challenged, changed, or reversed.

If someone you know has changed their playing style to not be equivalent to yours this does not make them the bad guy nor does it you. It makes for a different challenge and I know allot of you can recognize this challenge and except it like a true pirate (not call names and dramatize it)

No matter what any of you do you'll always have my friendship and respect as you have given that same respect to me.

<3 you guys

I'm with you on this issue . If you join this sector then obey the rules . If a new member does not want to abide by this then they should watch out for the door hitting them in the ass on the way to there new sector
As always your obedient evil person
