Well, moondog decided my taking out 3 of his fleets the other day defending geplers base was payback time 
He attacked my base 9 times today and only walked/sailed away with 109k worth of resources from my refinery's, everything else was pretty much untouched. Thanks to everyone for helping me set the base and defences up, cheers.
